First, I apologize to anyone who went to Streetside or Phil's last week only to discover there was no event. I simply got confused with the Leap Year extra day in February as to Streetside and wasn't aware of the art show in Fountain Hills that preempted the Phil's cruise-in. I'm sorry.

Saturday - Cars & Coffee at Streetside Classics - 614 E. Auto Center Dr, Suite 101

Mesa, AZ 85204 8:00 to noon or so. Coffee and donuts served at 9:00.

Pavillions Cruise-In - Indian Bend Road and the 101, Scottsdale - all afternoon and evening.

Sunday - Phil's Filling Station Cruise-In - Fountain Hills - 10:00 to 2:00 (pictures in the link).

Alpio's Cars & Coffee 7:00 to 10:00 am, lots of fun! Click here for details. Nice picture of our host Alpio Barbara below. Alpio is a real Corvette guy, he has quite a few and they're on display at his place, so come see them and enjoy some coffee and donuts.

Concours in the Hills - Fountain Hills 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Scuderia Southwest's big annual event, fundraiser for Phoenix Children's Hospital. No admission fee for spectators, come on down and enjoy the best show in Arizona. Click here for details.  Click here for pictures from last year.

Concours in the Hills 2019

Lake Pleasant Rally

Last year we scheduled a rally to Lake Pleasant where we would have lunch. We then planned to rent a pontoon boat for the afternoon and cruise the lake. We did not do it because the day planned was too cold.

We are going to try it again this year on February 23 (no Phil's because of the Great Fair). So far, it looks like the weather will be in the seventies. We want to do it before the end of the month because the boats cost 35% less.

We estimate that the boat will cost on the order of $35 per person. If you are into cruisin' the highways and cruisin' the waterways, please let me know ASAP if you would like to attend. If we have enough people for two boats, we can do some lake drag racing. More details later.
