Weekend Events - Sept. 21 - 22, 2019

Saturday

7:00 am to 9:30 am Penske Racing Museum Cars & Coffee Scottsdale - 7125 E. Chauncey Lane (Corner of Chauncey and Scottsdale, just South of the 101).

ACE drive to Bagdad - Meetup 9:30 am for 10:00 am departure at Mobil/Dairy Queen travel stop in Wickenburg.  

Located on the north side of Wickenburg on the corner of Highway 93 and Vulture Mine Road. 

Food, fuel, restrooms available.

We'll be going to the Copper Country Bar & Grill in Bagdad for lunch, then returning.

I'm going to Penske and leaving from there to the ACE run at 8:20 or so. Will make a quick stop at McDonald's at Carefree Highway and I-17 to meet anyone who wants to meet there.

I won't say the weather was cool, but it was not as hot as it has been and some cloud cover made it fairly pleasant. The turnout was very strong and I think we all had a good time, made some new friends and enjoyed the morning. Was it red Corvette day, or is that just my imagination? Scuderia Southwest - Scottsdale - 09-07-2019

Today's event restarted the Winter season for us (OK, it's 106 degrees today - obviously cooling down...). Plenty of great cars turned out including an 1,160 HP, 285 mph, Koenigsegg Agera RS (one of 25 made) and such comparatively pedestrian exotics as a new Ford GT, Porsche 918, gobs of Lambos, Porsche GT2RS, etc. - Oh, and a good selection of the world's best sports car too! Full picture set here.

Weekend Events - September 6 - 7, 2019

Scuderia Southwest Is Back!
Saturday morning brings the return of the Scuderia Southwest show at Mayo Boulevard and Scottsdale Road (just South of the 101 at Scottsdale Road).

Things have changed and the show is not an "all comers" event anymore. However, there will be plenty of great cars to see, and ample spectator parking that will ne a show in itself.

Saturday Corvettes and Coffee Westside at Bashas’ grocery store on the NorthEast corner of Dysart Rd and Camelback from 8am - this is usually followed by a spirited drive in the area.

Saturday evening at Pavillions, Indian Bend Road and the 101 in Scottsdale.

Streetside Classics - August 31, 2019

Those who ventured over to Streetside last Saturday had a good time with a full parking lot of participants and the usual selection of fun cars to look at inside - and the donuts!
